I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before joining UNC Charlotte, I worked with Prof. Guo-Wei Wei in the Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Alabama in 2021, supervised by Prof. Shan Zhao.
My research bridges mathematics, artificial intelligence, and biology. I develop mathematical and computational methods, including topological and geometric data analysis and machine learning, to study biomolecular structures and interactions and address challenges in drug discovery.
I welcome inquiries from motivated graduate and undergraduate students interested in developing mathematics-based machine learning models for biomolecular science. Please feel free to contact me by email.
